o replace the King’s place in ruling Thailand, there is a Prime Minister. Along with the Prime Minister there is a Senate, a House of Representatives, local administrations, Governorship of Bangkok, and national referendums to help in controlling Thailand as a whole. According to Saifon the Prime Minister of Thailand is the person with the greatest amounts of power and authority in Thailand. Once the Prime Minister is elected into office he is pretty much given the ability to change already existing laws and come up with new laws. Saifon mentioned that, to her, the Prime Minister is given this ability because once he is in office, the people expect him to do everything he does for the good of the people as a whole. If the Prime Minister wishes to do so, he can send the law he wants to put in place to a vote by the House and the Senate, but he does not have to do that if he does not wish to.
