With regard to micro-nutrients, the vitamins that were
assessed were B1, B2, B6, B12 and C. As with the macronutrients,
intakes of vitamins and minerals were compared
to RDI values. However, there was no need to make
two separate comparisons with REC1 (low activity) and
REC2 (high-performance athletes), since the recommended
values for micro-nutrients are the same for both
these populations (Table 3). Vitamin intake was therefore
