The Remanufacturing Process
When a used toner cartridge is returned to the manufacturer or remanufacturing company, it is first disassembled and all the parts are individually inspected. These parts include the drum, corona wire assembly, wiper blade, and roller. Any parts that are worn or damaged are replaced with new ones, and the cartridge is cleaned, refilled with toner, and reassembled. This process can be repeated several times for the same cartridge, making several generations of remanufacturing possible.
