Since lingerie is such a personal item, Sabina – like Wacoal – had a team of trained product
counselors to recommend custom fit lingerie for each customer. Providing an innovative
product was not enough, shoppers had to be able to find it and experience its value. Product
counselors helped enhance customer satisfaction, which in turn contributed to brand loyalty.
Sabina increased the number of its product counselors from 700 in 2008 to 1,100 by the end
of 2012.
