Berrah and Clivillé [14] have developed a PMS through linking the overall performance expression to elementary performance using the performance indicators extended from Gunasekaran et al. [56]. They have also combined the performance indicators at strategic, tactical and operational levels with the SCOR model’s processes. Bhagwat and Sharma [19] have developed a hierarchical PMS. The purpose of their model is to assist companies to prioritise the applicable performance measurement strategies in the current complicated global decision environment from a BSC perspective. Bhagwat et al. [20] have referred to the above model and proposed a methodology to optimise the overall performance of SME SCs. In another paper, Bhagwat and Sharma [21] have used strategic, tactical and operational levels of management in their hierarchical PMS of SCM and classified metrics according to these three levels.
