To express the total impact associated with each process (i), the
following relationship was applied:

where Xi is the total amount of activity data associated with a unit
of the considered process (i); emission_factori is the emission factor
associated with the considered process (i).
By summing the result obtained for each process considered in
the boundary it was possible to quantify the impact Tetra Pak in
Italy had on climate change during 2004: 133,564,453 kg of CO2
equivalent.
Fig. 2 is a representation of the data in Table 4 divided by process
and ordered in decreasing order beginning from the process that
produced the greatest quantity of GHG emissions.
