Health patch
The goal here is to develop a comfortable and reliable patch for monitoring multiple health related parameters. Eventually this could include ECG, motion, respiration and body fluid analysis sensors. The program targets an overall power consumption of around 100 µW.
EEG headset
Today's EEG solutions are either comfortable but low quality (e.g. for gaming) or highly accurate but uncomfortable so limited to stationary clinical use. Holst Centre and its partners aim to deliver the best of both worlds through a comfortable headset that brings highly accurate EEG measurements into the home. The very small signals typical to EEG measurements make noise robustness a particularly important challenge. Meanwhile the integration of dry electrodes is essential for ease of use and user comfort.
