Use of breastfeeding rooms in the workplace was
the second most impactful factor, with ORs of 2.68
and 3.25 on exclusive and any breastfeeding, respectively.
Maternity leave for 7 months or longer had ORs
of 1.5 and 2.3 on exclusive and any breastfeeding at
6 months postpartum, respectively. Other significant
factors with ORs < 2 included delivery in baby-friendly
hospitals, and use of phone lines, websites, volunteers,
and support groups.
