4) Pyramidal Signs
Pyramidal tract signs were evaluated in terms of the
presence or absence of the Babinski sign. One patient
showed no Babinski sign (3%) and 14 patients showed
unilateral signs (48%). The remaining 14 patients
(48%) showed bilateral signs. The recovery of the patients
with bilateral Babinski signs was significantly
worse (p < 0.025) than that of the patient with no or
unilateral signs (table 5).
