Measurements showed that M. aeruginosa cells in the control group were significantly increased during the 120-hr experiment, which showed a significant difference compared with the corresponding treatment group, and the Chl-a concentration increased from 331.11 to 523.58 μg/L. In treatment samples, the Chl-a concentration decreased from 343.14 to 289.25 μg/L within 120 hr (Fig. 3). The two groups did not differ much before 72 hr (p > 0.05) but significant differences were observed after that time (p < 0.001).
