For detection of phenolic compounds, alkaloids or acetogenins in A. muricata extract, preliminary phytochemical tests based on visual checking for color modification were performed applying NP/PEG (2-Aminoethyl diphenyl-borinate/Polyethylene glycol), Dragendorff and Kedde reagents on a silica gel 60 coated on Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) plates (Fluka).
