Carcass Characteristics. Increasing dietary Co-P
inclusion quadratically (P < 0.05; Table 10) increased
days to reach slaughter weight and linearly decreased
(P < 0.05) carcass weight, dressing percentage, backfat
thickness, and loin depth but did not affect estimated
lean percentage. Adding 10% AA to the 37.5% Co-P diet
decreased (P < 0.05) backfat and increased (P < 0.05)
lean percentage.
