The subjects comprised consumers of energy saving light bulbs in Taiwan.
The samples were primarily taken at B&Q home improvement centers in northern, central, southern and eastern Taiwan. In the northern region, 184 questionnaires were distributed; in the central region, 82 questionnaires; in the southern region, 143 questionnaires; and in the eastern region, 41 questionnaires.
A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed, and eliminating 77 invalid forms, the return rate was 81% with 323 questionnaires.
