A peg comprising: a one-piece clip molded from plastic, said clip consisting
essentially of two branches, each branch comprising an anterior part forming
a jaw and a posterior part forming a lever arm, and a thin connecting region
forming a hinge around a rotational axis and connecting together said
branches at an intermediate point thereof, wherein a spring 2 is located
between inner surfaces of the arms 1a, 1b of the peg , the jaws 4a, 4b of the
peg are biased toward a closed position by the spring.
2. A peg according to claim 1, wherein the spring can be made from the metal.
3. A peg according to claim 1-2, wherein each inner surface of the peg arms is
located by a projecting cylinder- shaped protrusion or spigot 3a, each end of
the spring is positioned to surround a respective spigot to hold the spring in
place between the peg arms.
4. A peg according to claim 1-3, wherein on inner surfaces of the jaws of the
peg are located by rubber pads 5.
5. A peg according to claim 1-4 wherein a rubber substrate having a ribbed
surface 6 has been bonded to the sides of the peg, which can be included as
inserts during injection moulding of the peg.
6. A peg according to claim 1-3, wherein the jaws and handles have the rubber
pads on.
