J: There is no doubt in my mind that Culture is one of the main difficulties that an International manager will have to deal with. Let’s take the case of an American manager who go to Japan for his work. The business culture is so different there that he will have to adapt himself if he wants to make it right. Perhaps, he will have to bear in mind that Japanese employees are working in an authoritarian style so, during a meeting, they won’t participate too much and let their manager talking. Also, Japanese don’t really say “no” directly, so that be quiet surprising for an American manager. I am sure there are more examples to give, but I strongly believe that we should give that idea in our presentation.
P: I appreciate what you’re saying, but my point of view culturally doesn’t the main effect to international manager working. It is clear that the most important to do business that is the result of work. So, I would say that result would effective; it depends on knowledge, strategy of the
manager used. That is why I think that doesn’t the main factor problem to international manager.
