Albite floatation waste, which is obtained from ore preparation process of albite especially at the stage of quartz floatation, was also used as a pore-forming agent. Its chemical composition is given in Table 2 [12]. It is clear from the chemical analysis that this waste consists of high amounts of fluxing
oxides such as CaO, Na2O, and P2O5. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis can be seen in Fig. 1 which indicates that this floatation waste was composed of albite, rutile, and hydroxyl apatite phases [12]
