2.7. Statistical analysis
All the fermentations were carried out in triplicate and the results
expressed as mean ± standard deviation. The SAS statistical
program (SAS institute, 1985, SAS user’s guide: Statistics, version
5 ed. Gary, NC) was used to analyze the experimental data. Values
with the same letter are not significantly different (p < 0.05)
according to Duncan’s multiple range test.
