Total body length, tail length and hid-limb length of larvae
reaching metamorphic climax were recorded. Total body length
of groups exposed to 100 mg/L NO3–N was significantly greater
than the control groups (one-way ANOVA, p 6 0.05). For its part,
10 and 50 mg/L NO3–N did not affect total body length of B. gargarizans
larvae (one-way ANOVA, p > 0.05) (Fig. 3A). Tail length
was significantly greater exposure to 10, 50 or 100 mg/L NO3–N
compared to the tail length of larvae exposed to the control
(one-way ANOVA, p 6 0.05) (Fig. 3B). We also found that
hind-limb length was significantly increased in 10 and 100 mg/L
NO3–N than controls (one-way ANOVA, p 6 0.05) (Fig. 3C).
