We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and customer centric Console Operator to join our team. As the major point of contact with our customers, you would need to have outstanding customer service skills. The Console Operator role requires someone with exceptional multi-tasking ability and is ideal if you thrive on working autonomously. Excellent observation skills are a must as the role is also responsible for the safety and security of the site.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing customers with friendly and efficient service
• Cash handling
• Answering customer queries and complaints in a courteous manner
• Conserve profit by ensuring compliance to correct balancing procedures
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Ensure adherence to Non Fuel merchandising standards, ranging and promotional tie up
• Ensure strict compliance to company policy & procedure including safety & security and petrol operations
• Adherence to Safety, Health and Environment Policy and Systems
• Prompt response to changes in Pricing to maximise sales opportunities
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:
Must be available to work the following hours
Thursday 7pm - 10.30pm
Friday 6pm - 9.30pm
• Ability to work a flexible roster which may include evenings and late nights across the 7 days of the week and may include public holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Portray a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Project a professional image at all times
• Deal with customer queries and complaints
• Abide by company policies and procedures at all times including company dress standards
