In this paper, we propose an optimization method for deployment of survivable FiWi access network with ISCW. The small cell function of ISCW is used to achieve maximal coverage of subscribers. Specifically, the Wi Fi function of ISCW provides the redundant mesh connectivity to transmit data from each primary ISCW to its backup ISCWs, in order to avoid the huge data loss and traffic outage when a distribution fiber is broken. The Optimization method ensures that coverage, capacity and delay demands of FiWi access network are satisfied and the simulation results presented here confirms the feasibility of this approach towards resilient Fi Wi deployments.
