Error severity Reaction time (95 % of incidents) Solution time (95 pct. of incidents)
1. / Critical 10 min. 4 hour
2. / High 30 min. 8 hour
3. / Medium To be defined 2 days
4. / Low To be defined 5 days
Reaction time = recovery initiated
Solution time = case solved, system operation fully restored
The severity of the issues is defined as:
Critical: Issues which result in a complete business process stop for all users.
High: Issues which result in some business process stop for some users.
Medium: Issues which can be resolved using alternative business process for a short period
Low: Cosmetic issues which do not affect business processes
