I have said that Calico should at least make payments for the 64 good
containers (126-42-20= 64) as this already far exceeds the agreed credit
limit of US$2 million. She again came up with all kinds of excuses about
other costs involved in handling the returns, BUT I have made it clear to
her that the Thai Customs do not allow us to make further shipments because
we have exceeded the Tax Exemptions Limit as we have not been paid. I have
also said that the situation now is not within our control unless Calico
makes some payments. She did not make any commitments but I believe they
will start to resume some payments as they still have outstanding orders to
fulfill to their customers. I also have information from our friend (WT)
that their Jiangsi factory have started to make some small deliveries of
KING/CALICO brands to the US, though they have supply problems too. I have
invited Laurie and Tony to visit us to discuss further if they have any
outstanding issues. She said that she will be sending us an email soon.
