Out of Tesco Network: Out at Tesco it has over 1,000 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members and is recognized by other groups as an excellent example of how such networks should operate.
The purpose of our Out at Tesco network is to encourage people to ‘be themselves’ at work and not worry about hiding anything, which can make us all work more productively. Tesco want to highlight to colleagues that they ‘have a place to go’. Tesco offer networking, support, mentoring, development and social activities. We also want to highlight to our non LGBTI colleagues that ‘we are here’ demonstrating

Women in business: created for company, by colleagues. Over the last couple of years Women at Tesco have told us that you want to feel inspired and empowered to drive your careers forward. They want to be able to get advice and listen to life stories from both senior people and your peers to share experience and help give insight so you can create choices and make them. Women in Business aims to provide every Woman at Tesco with the opportunity to be part of a network, support and encourage women to build your own networks which support you through every stage of your career.
Competitive advantage: This network would allow women to play an important role in the business by training and consulting them. By the way, women are feeling more men and women will care more about small points of their job, so mixing women in organizations with more advantages.
The ABC Network: The ABC Network (African Black British and Caribbean Network) was formed to give black colleagues an opportunity to network, share experience and develop their careers.
The purpose of the ABC network is to support Tesco’s global priority to be a great place to work, by inspiring and connecting people and fostering the development and retention of African, Black & Caribbean staff across all areas of Tesco. The ABC Network was launched in February 2012 after an extensive listening exercise across the business in stores, distribution centers and the head office. We heard from people from an African Black British and Caribbean background and the network and its core purpose were born.
Competitive advantage: This network make Tesco will become the employer of choice for African black British and Caribbean's colleagues that support career advancement in the process of admission in each developing and maintaining Tesco helps contribute to their local communities and to connect people in the organization.
The Asian network: The Asian Network is an internal Tesco group that aims to attract and develop talented Asians from inside and outside Tesco.
Tesco want to support and encourage more Asian colleagues to develop their careers with Tesco and want to let Asians in the wider community know that Tesco is a great place to work. This helps to raise the profile of careers at Tesco to Asian groups. It holds two events each year where Asian colleagues are invited to attend to network, share experience and to visit a ‘careers fair’ about opportunities at Tesco.

These networking groups and organizations those are important to Tesco and Tesco together with everyone to help them engage with their customers. That means workers who can meet the needs of customers better. There is also an improved business image because Tesco will be accepted by the people as a good place to work, with equal opportunities for everyone. All these can help businesses be more competitive than its competitors.
