Yeah, I'm not worried about them straightening Celia either. I just think we're starting to see potential cracks in the relationship.
Celia knows she has to hide and be discreet. But I think she would be fine just being the spinster teacher people give little thought to.
Aurora, on the other hand, seems really, really, really into the whole double life thing. Like if Fermin went to war and died and she felt she had to get married to some dude or something to keep her family off her back, I think she would she would do it and then spend her life seeing women in hotels. Like you said, there is no need for a beard for Celia right now, it's just Aurora taking too seriously their role of "straight" women, and I too found it a bit icky.
I really hope Victor Dumas is a woman, too. I want the show to pull the rug under our feet, and the characters' feet, too, and surprise us. Besides, they've forgotten for a while that Celia is a writer and I'd like her to get back to that.
If Victor is a man and Celia follows Aurora's advices, i think it will be such a disaster...
