The application of Yoga asanas helps the body maintain a degree of flexibility and muscle strength. It is a non-competitive form of practice where you can work to the level that benefits you a t the time. Working with the breath, or Pranayama is another wonderful tool to use. It has many benefits including increasing lung capacity, energizing the system and calming the mind. This brings us to meditation, which is a peaceful non-demanding way to help the mind/spirit. If one is too fatigued to do anything physical we can take the time to meditate, which increases energy and helps to relieve the mind of stress. Combining healthy eating habits that benefit my specific body type or constitution goes a long way in helping me feel better on a day to day basis. It has been a life time of exploring and commitment to learn how different foods can help the immune system to function better. Once we have been diagnosed with HCV we have been given a new awareness This knowledge can be used as motivation to research the best methods of self-help.
