This important Buddhist holy day marked the occasion of the spontaneous congregation of the Lord the Buddhist's 1250 disciples. The occasion prompted 'Jaturongkasannibat' . And all the disciples had been ordained by Lord Buddha. On this important day, Thai people will offer food to monk and the make merit in the morning. Then in the evening they will go to the temple nearby to attend the 'Wien Thian Cereony'. They will the follow a senior monk, walking clockwise three times in along procession with flowers, light incense sticks and candles between their palms. On the last round, they place the flowers, incense sticks and candles on the altar in front the Buddha image.
