Extracts were collected in solvent (acetone and hexane) rinsed amber vials and then spiked with 50 μL formic acid (pH ∼3). Extracts were then evaporated down to dryness at 59°C under a gentle nitrogen flow using a Zymark Turbovap II and then resuspended in 1 mL of 50% methanol in water.
