Referring the urgent shipment was needed to be at plant as full shipment on 27.10.16 but the shipment shipped from origin as partial shipment with not required colli.
Learning from the said situation, I found a lack of communication and tracking along the way from origin until destination which need to be improved urgently to avoid the same case occur again and again.
From attached step by step of information received, I would like to recommend as :
ð Logistic BMW TH need to inform origin to monitor on the urgent request parts and put BMW TH import/export in loop.
ð Origin book freight with “Flash” service with proper airline to have more space to carry all requested parts to BMW TH and make sure with airline at the time of loading
that all requested parts are loaded as full shipment not partial.
ð Provide invoice 1 day prior arrival date.
ð Freight forwarder and BMW TH import/export keep monitor and track with airline to make sure all requested part are on tracked and will arrive on time.
ð BMW TH import/export prepare shipping document with invoice for customs clearance preparation and further transportation plan.
