Each promotion of Pagarang restaurant has promotion period for 3 months and 4 quarter per year. During my intern, it was the 1st promotion which was shrimp festival on January to March. When the first period ended, the second promotion for the next 3 month is important tool to attract and communicate with the customer. The chief of department or trainer will assign me to create the second promotion due to the first promotion’s result was not good so that I need to offer newly idea and consult with the chief of restaurant that which king of material will attract customer. I offered the idea that we should sell fish and cab to be the main material and “fish and cab hot on bangsean” was the name of promotion. However, my trainer advised that if we use cab to be the main material, it can cook for a few menu and is not attracted much more customer and the name of promotion must be the name that attraction, short but has meaning and easy understand. No matter which promotion I need to ask chief for their recommendation. Before make some promotion I need to check every step from material, taste, quality and then take picture in order to make the form of poster. The trainer will always advise and offer the good idea for me and help create the font, color and form of poster to paste around the hotel. The detail of second promotion is Duo promotion, when the customer order this menu, they will get discount for 10% (only for 1 bill). There are 4 menus:
