Jominy end quench test studies, the resulting radial hardness tra-
verses are are also almost flat [14]. From the above, we can confirm
that heat transfer is along the cylinder axis, with little heat transfer occurring along the
sides. Therefore, the cooling process of the Jominy end quench tests in this paper was supposed
to be onedimensional heat conduction process.
