Panyapiwat Institute of Management or PIM (formerly Panyapiwat Institute of Technology) is an institution of higher education founded with the funding from Sueksapiwat Company Limited. On 9 March 2007, PIM was granted the permission and license for the establishment of Private University [License No.4/2550] by the Ministry of Education through the Office of the Higher Education Commission and has since been operating as a higher education institution, offering fully accredited bachelor’s and master’s degree programs since 1 June 2007 and doctoral degree programs since 1 October 2012.
PIM is located at 85/1 Moo 2 Chaengwattana Road., Pak Kred, Nonthaburi 11120, Thailand. The campus, covering an area of 11-rai, 1-ngan and 1 square meter, is surrounded by a range of facilities including department stores and government offices.
With the Institute’s retail educational and research emphasis and commitment to producing academically skilled and job-ready graduates, the main approach to teaching and learning at PIM is work-based learning. In addition to attending regular classes, PIM undergraduate students in every program will undertake a paid work placement every semester earning a stipend for the duration of each internship as well as valuable professional and real world experience. Among the many possible career options for PIM graduates are employment opportunities with CP All Plc, its subsidiaries, and other businesses in the retail industry.
