Not very many people see Cheri knightley’s favorite possession, but she couldn’t see without them. Cheri has had bad eyesight ever since she was a child, and doctors told her that if she had corrective laser surgery, they couldn’t guarantee the results. She persuaded her parents to buy her contact lenses, and she hasn’t looked bach since. “Look at that dog over there,” she say’s pointing, “If I didn’t have my contact lenses, I wouldn’t be able to see him at all, especially now that it’s raining-my glasses would be covered with raindrops. I know that people always tell you that doesn’t matter if you wear glasses or not, but I think it’s really nice to be able to play sports and do things without having to worry about breaking your glasses. I don’t think I’d feel as confident at parties either if I still had to wear glasses : mine wear as thick as soda bottles! And the great thing is that technology’s really improved in the last few years, so contact lenses are really comfortable to wear. If they hurt ny eyes, I’m not sure I’d be so keen to wear them. ”
