Each ear capsule is attached to the adjustable tensioning webbing/elastic
suspension system via a touch and close patch. The ear capsules tension against
the head is adjusted by two vertical webbing’s. The webbing’s go through slots
in the helmet shell to toggles mounted externally on the LH and RH sides of the
helmet. Tensioning is achieved by pulling on the webbing’s and subsequently
lifting the toggle levers up. This provides a firm fit to increase helmet retention
and sound attenuation. Tape loops secured to the bottom of each ear capsules
permit for repositioning during installation.
