I sometimes watch cooking shows on TV to get some new ideas.
I don't eat wheat products so I have to be creative at times. I sometimes make my own bread from coconut flour and ground flax seed. I like it and it's much healthier.
I have been thinking about starting a vegetable hydroponic garden. It could provide very healthy vegetables. We could grow what we wanted. It's something that I want to look into. I told your mother a while back that I wanted to grow an herb and sprout garden for sure. Sprouts are very powerful foods. So, if we also have the hydroponic garden too, we would not have to buy as many vegetables. We could grow just about anything this way. Another benefit is that there will not be any pesticides. So think about this.
I'm glad that you have an interest in cooking and baking. I've told your mother that I think that cooking together in the kitchen is a nice activity. I think that coming up with creative new dishes can be fun. I focus on nutrition. So I want to create things that are very healthy and tastes good too. I also want to incorporate chia seeds and hemp seeds into more dishes. These are wonderfully healthy and powerful foods. I've even thought about some deserts. For example, take shredded coconut and mix in a couple of eggs. If you like, you can add cinnamon to that. Now form them into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake until they are just starting to be a light golden brown. Now, dip them in dark chocolate and immediately dip that into chopped pistachios. This treat is actually healthy. No added sugars. I have even thought about making my own chocolate bars. I would use dark chocolate, then with one I would use the hemp and chia seeds, another might get pistachios, and another might get almonds. You can add cinnamon, sea salt, chili powder, and other things.
