Several language teaching approaches, methods and techniques have been developed so far (Richards and Rodgers, 1997: 20-21). Audiolingual method, communicative approach, total physical response, the silent way, community language learning, the natural approach and suggestopedia are among the best known approaches and methods. New developments in education sciences and psychology will lead new approaches, methods and techniques.
