Revised diagnosis. (1) The hindwing anal loop is transversely
elongate and divided into at least 8 cells (autapomorphy); (2)
Rsp1 is more distinct, but weakly zigzagged (autapomorphy); (3)
the hindwing vein CuAa is more strongly curved and has only
three or four distinct posterior branches; (4) the forewing discoidal
triangle is not divided by crossveins (autapomorphy); (5)
the forewing MP reaches the posterior wing margin about the
level of the nodus; (6) the pterostigmata is not braced (autapomorphy);
(7) the dragonfly is medium to large in size (forewing
length 30e56 mm).
