The intention is to help ensure a consistent approach with regards to the management and purchasing of raw materials for use in Woolworths Foods products. The Woolworths Primary Supplier must be able to demonstrate that their own Quality Management Systems cover all the necessary elements of these Guidelines, even if their own internal version of risk assessment differs in its execution. The Woolworths Technologists need to be aware of the raw materials used in products for which they are responsible, and ensure that they are appropriately risk assessed and managed in line with these requirements. All Woolworths Foods Suppliers are required to procure raw materials from A-List registered sites, where relevant/appropriate.
