Summary
The intent of the study was to examine followers’ preferences’ for leader behavioral
characteristics within a franchise service environment in the state of Michigan within close
proximity. Kelly’s (1992) Followership Profile Questionnaire (FTP) was presented to three of
the XYZ food service franchise restaurants. The survey was distributed to (120) of the service
restaurant employees. The majority of the employees were female in an age range of nineteen to
twenty-one.
