The project team initiated education throughout the hospital network. With the support of the hospital’s PRNs, educational in-services and tools such as unit-based tip sheet handout and laminate ID-size cards (Figure 5; rFLACC on one side and FLACC on the other) were disseminated throughout the units. Project team members presented at the managers meeting, hospital-wide Shared Governance Council, and Interdisciplinary Pain Grand Rounds The laminate ID-size cards are distributed during nursing orientation for new hires. The rFLACC tool is also embedded in lilies hospital’s FMR system to be used with pain assessment documentation.
