Texas, US Two Texas girls whose lemonade stand was shut down because they lacked a permit will instead offer the drink for free. Television station KLTV reported that eight-year- old Andria Green and her seven-year-old sister, Zoey, would take only donations for lemonade on Saturday in Overton, a town about 200km east of Dallas. A police officer approached the stand, which offered lemonade and kettle corn In a patrol-car video, the officer can be heard asking the girls' mother for a permit. Evans replies that she wasn't aware they needed one. A family friend went to Overton's city hall to get one, where authorities waived the US$150(5,000 baht) fee, but said health department officials first needed to inspect the stand. Overton's police chief said police must follow the state's health guidelines.
