Power Distance: Power distance is quite important for Taiwanese people as they very much accept the hierarchal order in society and respect it. People tend to follow orders without questioning; which can be negatively used as it also serves to create inequalities through always having more power distributed amongst the more powerful members of an organization. Normally, bosses or elders in Taiwan are seen as autocrats (HOFSTEDE Center, 2013). However, according to the interview with Eric from Taiwan, young people nowadays are shifting more and more in support of having more freedoms and choices in life.
