Methods and procedures
16(1) A licensee shall ensure that:
(a) subject to subsection (2), only standard methods and procedures that are
generally accepted by the medical profession are used in the medical
laboratory; and
(b) a written manual setting out all procedures performed in the medical
laboratory is developed and maintained.
(2) Where a licensee uses a method or procedure other than one described in
clause (1)(a), the licensee shall, on the request of the board or a designate of the
board, furnish proof that the method or procedure is accurate.
