Chain conveyor in medical rubber glove line production is an important equipment that conveys the rubber glove molds to a series of ovens and leaching tanks. Basically, the unstable motion of the conveyor could cause frictional damage to guide rails and fracture of main shafts. Consequently, the production line is frequently shut down in order to repair degraded parts of chain conveyor. According to the above mentioned problems found in a medical rubber glove plant, it requires an effort to study the kinetics of chain conveyor in terms of optimal chain velocity, force acting on chain parts, input torque at main drive shaft, together with shaft failure mechanisms.
