The pump system includes a pump which is similar in construction to the above pump except that each end of the piston rods terminates with a roller. A T-shaped actuator bar is pivoted to the body of the pump such that when the float is pushed up and down by wave forces, the actuator bar oscillates about a pivot and, in turn, reciprocates the pistons.
As a result, fluid (air or water) enters through inlets and fluid is pumped out through outlet in a double acting manner. The fluid from the outlet is then channeled to drive a turbine or fluid motor, which in turn drives a generator to produce electric power.
