Missing resident questionaire

You are working alone at night and you discover a resident is missing , please answer the following question about the action you would take.

A. Check the room including the bathroom and any wardrobes.
B. Check the immediate area around the resident's room.

2. The resident has not been found on your initial search, what should your next step be?
A. Call the police.
B. Extensive search of the facility including , other resident's rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, activity areas, cupboards etc.
C. Contact the Care Manager or Assistant.
3. The resident remains missing, what would you do at this stage?
A. Not worry about the situation until the next shift starts.
B. Notify the contact person for the resident regarding the situation and enlist their assistance as appropriate.
C. Go to your car and drive around the area looking for the tesident.
D. Contact CM, continue to search and await further instructions.
