This advantage involved, among other things, maintaining the skin layer, removal of surface defects and reduction of contamination quantity of technological origin.
A type, size of used shaped pieces and time of the used machining are to be optimized. The surface layer test results of the elements made of magnesium alloys after different preparation types are listed in Fig. 1.
After vibro-abrasive machining the surface has the smallest roughness in the comparison with remaining tree types of surface preparation (Table 3).
