These results
demonstrated the antioxidant effect of grape seed and
peel extracts on reducing the TBARS value and
corroborating those reported by other authors (Lai
et al., 1991; Mielnik et al., 2003; Mielnik et al., 2006),
who found a linear relationship between the amount of a
given antioxidant (rosemary extract and grape seed
extract) and the TBARS values, indicating that the effect
depends on antioxidant concentration.
