We cordially invite your students to participate in the International Students’ Visual Arts Contest-cum-Exhibition of Hong Kong – Photograph (HKISAC) 2015. The theme of this year’s HKISAC is “Harmony”.
Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan city keen on developing arts and culture, and promoting creative industries. Nurturing students’ creativity and art abilities therefore plays a significant role in school education. The Education Bureau (EDB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of The People’s Republic of China Launched the HKISAC jointly with Po Leung Kuk (one of the major charitable and education organizations in Hong Kong) in 2010. The HKISAC of the past years were so successful that thousands of young people’s high quality artworks were submitted from Event Title: International Students’ Visual Art Contest-cum-Exhibition of Hong Kong – Photography (HKISAC) 2015
Theme: Harmony
Presenters: EDB and Po Leung Kuk
Co-organizer: Art Promotion Office, Leisure and Cultural Services Development of HKSAR Government
Curator: Inno World Inc .
Medium: Photography
Entrants: Students of primary 4 / grade 4 or above of primary schools, and full-time students of secondary schools
Judging panel: Internationally well-known artists, photographers and art professionals
Prize: 12 Hong Kong Grand Prizes. Each will be awarded US$1,000 cash, a trophy and a certificate. For Hong Kong Grand Prize winners from outside Hong Kong, a return flight ticket to Hong Kong and 4-day (3 night) accommodation in Hong Kong will be offered to attend the prize presentation ceremony.
Other prizes: A number of Honorable Mentions and Certificate of Merits
Exhibition: The prize awarded photograph (Hong Kong Grand Prize and Honorable Mention) will be exhibited in August 2015 in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
