We like to run an ideation workshop for any design project we undertake. It doesn’t always turn out that way, which can be a cause of regret if design sign-off proves to be tricky. It can seem like a big thing to ask of new clients—to give up at least half a day of their time—but successful workshops lead to a concrete shared understanding of design decisions. Hence no nasty surprises later. They can prevent significant amounts of rework.
