loss due to accelerating the inertia was 5020 kW
seconds, we now determine the additional loss
due to the load is 6400 - 5020 = 1380 kW seconds.
In some cases the speed of the driven unit will
differ from that of the driving motor, because of
belting or gearing arrangements. All WK2 values
used in determining accelerating time or energy
absorption must be effective values referring to the
motor speed.
